Stacking robots easily solve logistics handling problems

As is well known, the handling, placement, and storage of goods in warehouses are difficult for manual labor to complete. It is impossible to achieve efficient storage and access solely through manual handling. Therefore, nowadays warehouses are becoming increasingly automated, and many large enterprises are using various handling vehicles and robots. Stacking robots are currently a common type in warehouses. The main "responsibility" of the palletizing robot is to stack the cardboard boxes that have been loaded into containers in a certain arrangement on pallets and pallets (wooden, plastic) for automatic stacking. It can stack multiple layers and then push them out for easy forklift transportation to the warehouse for storage. So, how do palletizing robots help businesses save costs?


With the continuous development of China's economy and the rapid advancement of science and technology, robots have a considerable number of applications in industries such as palletizing, gluing, spot welding, arc welding, spraying, handling, and measurement. There are many reasons, including the type of packaging, factory environment, and customer needs, that make palletizing a difficult nut to crack in packaging factories. To overcome these difficulties, various aspects of palletizing robots are being developed and improved, including from robotic arms to software for operating them. The increasing demand for flexibility in the market has affected multiple aspects of packaging, including the later stages of production lines. Retail customers, especially those influential supermarkets such as Wal Mart, often need to customize some random pallets, but they have to customize each pallet, and the form of pallets is only occasionally repeated. Moreover, efficient production of such random pallets is quite challenging.


Characteristics of automatic palletizing robot:

1. Simple structure with few components. Therefore, the failure rate of components is low, the performance is reliable, the maintenance and repair are simple, and the required inventory of components is small.

2. The palletizing robot occupies a small area. Beneficial for the layout of production lines in customer factories and allowing for a larger warehouse area. Stacking robots can be set up in narrow spaces and can be effectively used.

3. The palletizing robot has strong applicability. When there are changes in the size, volume, shape of the customer's product or the external dimensions of the tray, only slight modifications need to be made on the touch screen, which will not affect the customer's normal production. However, modifying a mechanical palletizer is quite cumbersome and even impossible to achieve.

4. Low energy consumption. The power of a typical mechanical palletizer is around 26KW, while the power of a palletizing robot is around 5KW, reducing the operating costs for customers.

5. All controls can be operated on the control cabinet screen, and the operation is very simple.

6. Simply locate the starting point and placement point, and the teaching method is simple and easy to understand.
